Home Equity Lines of Credit

A Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) is different from a regular Home Equity Loan in that you are able to borrow the money whenever you may need it during the first 8 years of the term rather than just taking out the lump sum at once. A HELOC works similar to a credit card because you have a line of credit with a low variable rate.
