The Dannemora Federal Credit Union Visa® Debit card works like a check and can be used anywhere that Visa is accepted! Whenever you make a purchase, the amount is deducted from your DFCU checking account. You can also use your DFCU debit card to withdraw cash or check balances at thousands of ATMs worldwide.
We know how important it is to have access to your money when you need it, which is why you will receive your new debit card immediately when you open your new checking account. Select your pin number when you get your card and then you are set to use your card in stores and at ATMs.
We can also replace lost or stolen Visa debit cards at any branch.
24-Hour Telephone Teller
Our Audio Response Teller (A.R.T.) is available for use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Telephone Teller system allows members to access their Dannemora Federal Credit Union account using the touch- tones on their telephone to conduct financial transactions. The Audio Response Teller allows members to do:

Direct Deposit

Wire Transfer
Dannemora Federal Credit Union offers wire transfer services for domestic inbound and outbound. Incoming wire transfers are free. Outgoing domestic wire transfers are $15.00.
Safe Deposit Box
Safe Deposit Boxes provide a secure environment for members to store their valuables, whether it is documents, jewelry, coins, birth certificates, or old family photos. Safe Deposit boxes are located at our Tom Miller Road branch. Call or stop by for more information.
The contents of your safe deposit box are NOT insured against loss by this financial institution, or NCUA. For your protection, you may wish to obtain your own box content insurance, from an insurance company of your own choice.
You should also keep a complete, up-to-date list and description of all property stored in your safe deposit box. This inventory and any other proof of ownership documents should be stored in another location, other than your safe deposit box.
Notary Public
If you have a document that requires a Notary Public, we can help you out! Members are able to use this service in branches at no charge. We also offer "Medallion Seal" services to our members. Contact your local branch for details.
Coin Counting Machine
As a member of Dannemora Federal Credit Union, you are able to use our coin counting machines free of charge! Bring in your loose change and deposit it into your account or get cash back, it’s your choice!
We also allow local schools and non-profit organizations to use our coin counting machines free of charge, to support their fundraising efforts.
