Bill Discovery is a new feature inside DFCU’s Online Bill Pay that makes switching to automatic payments easier, faster, and way less stressful. Instead of manually tracking down every bill, Bill Discovery helps do the work for you. With your permission.

What is Bill Discovery?

Bill Discovery is a smart tool that automatically finds your existing bills using trusted billing network and your credit report (with your approval). It helps you add bills quickly to your DFCU online and mobile banking accounts, so you can stay on track and organized.

Where can I find Bill Discovery?

Log into DFCU’s online or mobile banking, go to Bill Pay, and then select “Add a company or person” and click the “find my bills” tab.

How do I start using Bill Discovery?

Click “Add My Bills Now” or “Add a Company or Person”, then go to Find My Bills. You’ll be asked to check boxes to allow access to the biller network and your credit report. This gives permission to search for your bills.

What happens next?

Once you give permission, the system searches for bills and gives you a list of matches.

Can I choose which bills to add?

Absolutely. You stay in FULL control. Go over the list, select which bills you want, and click “add”. Nothing is added without your approval.

Will I be notified if new bills are found later?

Yes. DFCU’s system continues to search for bills and will send you an email if new ones are found. So, you don’t have to worry about missing anything.

Is Bill Discovery safe to use?

Yes. Dannemora Federal Credit Union uses secure technology to protect your personal data. When you give permission to use your credit report, it is a soft inquiry that does not affect your credit score, and your information is only used to locate bills.

Can I opt out later?

Of course. You can turn off Bill Discovery at any time.
